1. Terms of Service

1.1. General

Welcome to Walkies! (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any provision, please refrain from using the App.

1.2. Data Controller

The data controller for the App is: Damian Grzegolec, operating under the business address: Na Stoku 66 Kielce, Poland, Contact: contact@recursioncorp.dev.

1.3. Use of the App

• The App is intended for users aged 13 and above.
• Use of the App is voluntary and at your own risk.
• The App allows you to track dog walks, record routes, distance, and maintain a medical card for your pet.
• We are not responsible for incorrect data entered by users or for decisions made based on data stored in the App.

1.4. Accounts & Authentication

• On first launch, an anonymous account is created automatically.
• Users may upgrade their account at any time by signing in with Apple Sign‑In — the anonymous account will then be linked to your Apple ID.
• You are responsible for the security of your device and your Apple ID credentials.

1.5. Walkies+ Subscription

• The App is free in its basic version.
• Access to premium features (Walkies+) is offered via subscription through RevenueCat and the App Store.
• Subscription plans: Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly.
• Subscriptions are managed by the App Store — for payment and cancellation details, please refer to your Apple account settings.
• No free trial is offered at this time.

1.6. User Content

• The App does not allow taking or uploading photos.
• Users enter only text-based data: dog's name, breed, weight, notes, and walk history.
• All data is stored in Supabase and is not shared with third parties.

1.7. Data Export

Users can export their data to a PDF file at any time. The PDF is generated on demand — it is entirely up to the user what they do with the file and who they share it with.

1.8. Account Deletion

Users may delete their account directly from within the App at any time. Deletion permanently removes all data associated with the account, including dog profiles and walk history.

1.9. Location Data

• The App uses GPS only during an active walk session.
• Location is collected in real-time only when the screen is on or when the App runs in the background (to continue tracking the route).
• Location data is stored exclusively on the user's account and is never shared with anyone.

1.10. Future Features

We plan to introduce features allowing users to share dog profiles with co-owners in the future. Any such features will be clearly communicated and governed by updated Terms.

1.11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Users will be notified of any material changes via the App or email.
