Terms of Service

1. General

Welcome to Walkies! (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any provision, please do not use the App. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Provider

The App is provided by Damian Grzegolec, business address: Na Stoku 66, Kielce, Poland. Contact: contact@recursioncorp.dev.

3. What the App Does

• Walkies! lets you keep your dog's health records in one place: today's plan, reminders, vet visits, medications, vaccines, weight history and a journal for chronic conditions such as diabetes.
• You can share a dog with family, sitters and other carers so everyone sees the same records and reminders.
• You can create a PDF report for your vet and track walks with walk goals.
• The App is intended for users aged 13 and above.

4. Not Veterinary Advice

• Walkies! is a record-keeping and reminder tool. It does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment and is not a substitute for your vet.
• Always follow your vet's instructions for doses, insulin, glucose targets and treatment. Do not change your dog's treatment based only on data or charts in the App.
• Walk goals based on breed, age and energy are general guidance only.
• Reminders depend on your device, notification settings and network connection and may be delayed or not delivered. Do not rely on the App as the only way to remember a dose or treatment.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you and your care team enter. We are not responsible for incorrect data or for decisions made based on data stored in the App.

5. Accounts & Authentication

• On first launch, an anonymous account is created automatically.
• You can sign in with Apple at any time, which links your anonymous account to your Apple ID.
• You are responsible for the security of your device and your Apple ID.

6. Shared Care

• You can invite other people to a dog with a one-time code and choose whether they can edit or only view the dog's records.
• Only invite people you trust. Everyone you invite can see the dog's records, reminders and history, and people with edit access can add, change and mark entries.
• Members of a care team can see the display name of whoever logged an entry or marked a reminder done or skipped.
• Joining a dog someone shared with you is always free.

7. Free Version & Walkies+

• The App is free for health records, one chronic condition, reminders and walks.
• Walkies+ adds more dogs, inviting carers, the vet PDF report, full history beyond 30 days and themes.
• Walkies+ is available as a weekly, monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store. Subscriptions are managed with RevenueCat.
• Payment is charged to your Apple account. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
• No free trial is offered at this time.

8. Your Content

• You can add dog profiles and photos, health records, condition journal entries, reminders and walks.
• Your content belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the App to you and the care team you share it with.
• Do not upload content that is illegal, offensive or that you do not have the right to share.
• All data is stored in Supabase. We do not sell it and do not share it with third parties except as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Vet Report (PDF)

With Walkies+ you can generate a multi-page PDF report with your dog's conditions, medications, vaccines, weight and charts. The PDF is created on demand, and it is up to you what you do with it and who you share it with.

10. Location

• The App uses GPS only while a walk is being tracked.
• Location is also used in the background during a tracked walk, so tracking continues when the screen is off.
• The route is saved with the walk in your dog's records and is visible to that dog's care team.

11. Account Deletion

You can delete your account from within the App at any time. This permanently removes your data, including dogs you created and their records. You can also leave a care team at any time.

12. Availability & Liability

• We work to keep the App available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or available without interruption.
• To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect damages or for losses resulting from missed reminders, incorrect entries or unavailability of the App.
• Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms as the App changes. We will tell you about material changes in the App or by email before they take effect.
